(This is a Loki fanfiction, set in the time frame of Thor: The Dark World.) Elspeth Montgomery is an Asgardian from a poor family. She's very shy and quiet, and rarely ever gets tough. When she leaves home to work as a maid in Castle Asgard, Odin disapproves of her and sends her to the prison every day as a means to get rid of her. That's where she meets the imprisoned prince, Loki Laufeyson, who's the polar opposite to her: sassy, defiant, and knows how to get his way. Freya finally manages to escape Thanos' tortures and lands in the royal gardens of Asgard, where Frigga and Loki save her life. She is allowed to stay on Asgard by Queen Frigga. Odin is in the Odinsleep, Thor is banished on Midgard and Loki seems to be planning something. What could go wrong? A lot apparently, I mean, this is Wattpad after all. This is a very slow burn and there will be no smut, since I'm not comfortable writing that. If you have any ideas for the title of this book or any plot ideas, let me know.
