Having moved from Georgia to Florida to live with her mother, Sophia Casteel, must try to forgive her mom for her mistakes, and get used to living in Florida. That's it. That's all she had to do. And that was good, she was willing to try.
But matters turned complicated when she stops a fight between two popular boys, Jared Sanchez and Kyle Johnson, at her school, who both begin to hate her. Now she has to worry about Kyle who's out to get her and a cold, hostile Jared who she's been paired up to do an assignment.
And just when she thinks things can't get any worse, her life completely changes. For good or worse? She's not sure.
