It's the year 4021, the earth went into chaos 2,000 years ago. The climate suddenly changed worldwide. There was snow in warm places, rain in dry places, the oceans were rising and ice caps were melting. Humans had been already working on it for years but now they finally put it to use. They were going to Mars. After they figured out that Mars could support life and that you could alter the atmosphere to be both protective and breathable like earth's then It wasn't long before they started creating a habitable place for humans.
 
Now, back to the present Nisi is a 16-year-old who was born on Mars. She lives in the Eastern part of the hemisphere in a city called Stamford with her parents, her brother Suna and her best friend Tamika who everyone calls Tami. She's a completely normal high school student until one day when she's selected for a team of teens to lead an expedition to Earth. What will they find?

Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). I dare to ask. He sits back at the wall staring at me. He runs his eyes down my body and slowly smirks. "Yes," "Good," I say digging my fork into the pasta. I then place the pasta into the carrots... Playing with my food. I have been scolded for this many times when I was back in the Ordinary world. Now there is no one to do that for me. Asher comes closer to me and I could sense the burnt wood in him. I smile as he wraps his arms around me. "Your mine. Only I can look at you that way. Only I can touch you. Only I can kiss you. Understand?" He asks me. I nod. He places a kiss on my lips and a kiss on my collarbone. "Good," I peek at my lashes again to find golden boy looking elsewhere. They agreed that it is best if they go back to the lab to find out what happened to them....only to find out that they, along with the other affected people, are being hunted, taken, and tested on.
