I wake up feeling as if I was on a cloud, there but not really there, more like I'm in a mist. I look around to see I'm still at the party that my best friend planned for me. 

I hear people talking in concerned voices. I look over to my left to see a group of people looking down at something or someone maybe? I float over to see what or who everyone is gawking at, it's me, unconscious. What the hell is happening? 

"Do not be frightened, my child! You are here to witness." A beautiful and elegant voice, calm and welcoming says.

"A hungry wolf at all the herd will run, in hope, through all, to make sure of one" I heard the whisper again as I sat on the forest floor, blood dripping from my wrists. I knew those words to well and with a gust of wind hitting my face I looked up to see HIM standing in front of me with eyes pure red. I smiled weakly "it's been a long time dev..." I closed my eyes then felt arms wrap around me. "To long that's for sure! What have you done" he growled. "Dev-oh no! What have you done!" I heard two other voice that made me smile. "You all left and moved on, now its my turn" I whispered. "Oh no it's not" and with that said I let out a piecing scream and I felt him bite my arm. ************* It started when I was 6, I was always the outcast of family and they made sure I knew it. So I wanted to leave and I tried believe me I really tried. But when I was going to jumped I heard THE WHISPER for the first time. And the words 'A hungry wolf at all the herd will run, in hope, through all, to make sure of one'. Suddenly I didn't feel so alone anymore and when I turned around, I came face to face with 3 people that are going to change my life forever. And it all started with one very little whisper.

They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that. I wish I could say my story was this; It's raining while I'm driving home, I hit a dog, get out to help it surprise it's not a dog but a hot werewolf that I fall in love with under the beautiful stars. Sadly, not true. I hit the dog then have to help it and end up with my surprisingly genius best friend that's a wolf and that's all I think he is, but unfortunately I am one of the humans that believes werewolves are just fairytales. I learn the hard way by watching my pet wolf turn into a human to which I run away screaming and end up unconscious because I ran into the wall, hard. I never would have dreamed this was possible, at least not for me, I'm just Nicole Ryan Maryweather an outcast teenager girl, completely ordinary...or so I thought.

What challenges will these people face? What will they do when lives are on the line? But the big question is; will they all make it out alive?

I crawled and sunk impossibly deeper into the couch behind me, biting my nails to hold back the scream of horror aching to burst through my chords. The terrifying and spine shivering sight of flesh being ripped to pieces, agonising screams of terror and the horrendous sight of blood splattering on the living room window escalated my heart beats to rhythms I never thought possible. Suddenly all was quiet, silent and dark. The light from the moon that peeked through the window became non-existent. The screams of terror and horror disappeared and at the window I felt the presence of the monster who was doing this. It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family. Crystal Cane, 17 year old senior in high school has had to live 12 years of her life after the incident with a new family, new home, new school and fortunately new friends. Still a little timid as she lives her life she has to be ready to see what fate has in store for her. Or what it seems to have against her . I remember everything like it was yesterday. I had a bad flu and died in my own bed. My fathers respected my wishes. When I died the last thing I heard was my sister saying "see you in another life". Then cries were heard. There was this light. I thought it was my cue to go to the afterlife. But I was wrong. I heard pacing in the room. Or was it outside the room. I heard a womens voice "my beautiful boy". Then another voice was heard "miss you have to keep pushing". I heard the women scream and another cry was heard. "It's a girl" the doctor said. I heard gasps from everyone in the room. Untill this day, I still haven't found out why everyone was so surprised.
