When a mind is isolated with its own thoughts, it can begin to turn on itself. Unable to understand what's real and what's not can cause a strain that some people are unable to recover from.
However, there are some people who were already born with this strain of the mind.
Ever since the events of the ball, no one has heard or seen the ghoul known as Kaji.
Many people paid no mind but there were the few who were worried. Even the people back home grew concerned as they hadn't heard anything from the titular girl.
Many people believed that the worst was behind them after the event with Shizuka Hio.
But those people tend to forget the mind likes to play tricks.

In a world where it's already an eye for an eye, a claw for a claw Keiko Amile, a mysterious half ghoul who craves to be free from the CCG for even a few days, transfers to Cross Academy. Leaving the 20th ward and her close friend - and cousin - 'Mina Jitsu' behind she embarks into a region severely lacking in Ghoul Activity. Will she figure out what the night class are or will they figure her out first? Also I should probably mention that Keiko and Mina are not a part of Anteiku and this story is set around the time Kaneki first becomes a ghoul and joins Anteiku [when he's still sane I guess]. However do not fret! The Anteiku crowd will not be annihilated from this story! Just a thing before you read this, I ran out of ideas for this story part-way through and the ending turned out pretty hap-hazard and rubbish in my opinion. I don't own the the story of Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo ghouls re or the characters. I only own Yasha and small little plot lines I create. Yasha Natsumi is living in japan around all the ghoul attacks but she became an investigator to pay back a certain investigator for saving her but she has a power to know what will happen and when and can hear things most people cant. She brushed it off at as just being lucky. On top of that she can heal fast despite low RC levels but has constant injuries and memories that haunt her more than she can handle. One day she's In a café and meets a certain young ghoul and creates a friendship while creating a special relationship with a special investigator.
