A Sandersides superhero/secret agent AU [Discontinued]

This AU is a mix of both a random piece of dialogue I felt inspired to write out of nowhere yesterday and an old AU I had long ago with some major changes.
I am unaware of when I'll update this fic, hopefully I'll actually develop this story.
For some context, this is a society where having special abilities is abnormal but not impossible. Roman works at a government agency that works to train people with superpowers, to be "heroes" who work for the government so they're like superheroes/secret agents. Logan is one of the people running the program Roman is a part of and therefore is technically his boss. Patton is only about a year older than Roman but is one of the older recruits and is Logan's unofficial right hand man as well as a mentor figure for some of the newer recruits.
On the other hand, Virgil, Remus and Janus feel the government is corrupt and that agencies such as that are only there to control people. That and each of them has had bad firsthand experiences with the law either not caring about them or actively hurting them. This leads them to end up in situations where they're trying to undermine the law and have encounters with the heroes, they are seen as 'villians' but they only work to hurt the government and try to change society in unconventional ways but their objective is never to cause harm to the normal people just existing.
So that's why, Janus decides to become a double agent and pretend to conform joining the agency where Roman works to slowly destroy it from the inside . The problem only arises when he realizes he maybe actually likes it here... more importantly he thinks maybe he likes Roman. Oh shoot.

The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying. The Borrower and the Fairy Prince
*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. Roman and Remus Dukes are trying to cope with their dad's recent death. Logan Berry isn't sure how to tell anyone but those closest that he is trans. Virgil Storm is the new kid in school, and his mom's the principal. Patton Hart is just trying to welcome the new principal with some students. Janus Duplis is just ready to skip school and avoid people. So what happens when they get detention together, and then find a set of mysterious bracelets hanging from a statue? I want to put a disclaimer here. I have never written a hero fic, or any real sort of action paced book, so this might be in a lot of detail as my brain works in detail, this is mainly a practice style for a fic of these characters that i wanted to practice first. If i get a lot of feedback, i can go back can shorten where i need to. Title says most of it, but there was another sander's sides ranger au and I desperately wanted to try my hand at it. The story switches perspectives, and has princxiety, logicality, and demus. this is also a more mature version of power rangers, so cursing, death, and more mature themes (no smut since I'm ace). Fair warning, this does have trans Logan, and I do mention body dysmorphia, so if those things bother you, please take the time and put yourself first! Fond nonetheless. They're as close as he'd like them to be. Which is very, very close. A job, where he gets to see that one cute coworker every day, and they can trade snarky comments about whatever sparks their interest that day. Who, it just so happens, has the most adorable smile and laugh and eyes and - superheroes were not supposed to be attracted to the very people trying to hurt their city, right? From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same.
