Meet Elody Jiles. Outwardly, she seems like a normal girl, with a normal life. However, that is not the case. Upon meeting her, you may assume she is just extremely introverted, and doesn't like being around people. But in reality, she is simply afraid of human touch. This is a result of her broken past. No one really understands what happened, or why she is the way she is. For now. 

Her family got sick of her hiding in her room, seemingly scared of living her life. So without her consent, she is sent off to a horse ranch in the middle of nowhere, where she is to work for the summer. She has no choice but to oblige, so as to avoid being thrown out. What will happen when she discovers she is to live and work closely alongside another person? And what will happen when she discovers that other person is a guy?All Rights Reserved

Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
