They were best friends. No one really understood why one of the loudest Slytherins and one of the quietest Hufflepuffs were so attached to one another. But they always were. It didn't make sense in the slightest. The Slytherin girl, Millie, was a pure blood girl, who's families' status was of most importance. The other girl, Winnie, was of halfblood status and favored everyone with kindness. They should've hated each other. It was the opposite.

When Winnie is asked to tutor an intelligent, quiet boy, her first question is why? He was almost top of his class. He was a prefect. Yet, he would be missing in class every month. He was strange to her as well considering, he was friends with the group of Gryffindor boys, calling themselves the Marauders.

Millie knew exactly who the Marauders were. She wasn't phased by them. Not one bit. She had known the Black family her entire life. Even if they had not known her. She had never spoken to Sirius before, but was quite close with Regulus. She knew who they were. What they did. Besides, they were just teenage boys, what harm could they do?
