No matter how hard he tries to stop thinking of the alpha, he can't. Every time he closes his eyes, he sees him, and every time he dreams, he's in his arms. The heart is a fickle thing. It's unpredictable and has a mind of its own. No matter how hard he tries to look away. No matter how hard he tries not to think of him, and no matter how much it hurts that he's so invisible in his presence, he can't change the way his heart feels. The damn thing wants what it wants, whether his brain wants it or not.
