The human race as we know it is coming to an end.  Five girls manage to escape the chaos and meet in the most unlikely of places. All five of the girls are opposites of each other and wouldn't be expected to be friends in the normal world but everything has changed, nothing is the same anymore. They work together to survive and have their ups and downs every now and then. After coming face to face with the enemy will it result in peace or death?
TW contains violence and mental illness.

I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up.
