"Don't you dare tell me it was a misunderstanding!"
"It was!"
"No it fucking wasn't! I saw her all over you!"
"Its not what it looked like!"
"I know what I saw Stefan!"
"Roxy please, hear me out...."
I slid down the door. My neighbors where probably going to complain about the commotion tomorrow.
"Roxy?"
I stayed quiet.
"Please Roxy, say something, anything. Scream again. Just let me know your still their, still listening."
Again. I stayed quiet.
We stayed like this for a while, quiet. I leaned against my door, the only barrier between me and him, the only thing keeping me from running into his arms crying. The arms of a man who made me feel like he created the universe for me in his elegant office on the top floor.
The same man who destroyed it in that same office on the top floor.
"Three months. Its been three months Stefan. Three months since that day, and your here?"
"I came sooner, I came three months ago. I ran after you to try to explain but you where gone. Then you weren't here, not for a month."
I remember, I stayed with the triple L's. They let me stay a while with th excuse that my apartments pipeline broke. remember them asking me why I wasn't with him and why my phone was being bombarded with calls.
"Stefan...."
"Roxy please, let me explain..."
.........
