There was this famous romance visual novel called 'My Lover is a Noble'. But it's not famous because of it's storyline, actually its plot is really basic with a poor female Lead finding true love from a rich noble, but what made this famous were the extras that came with it.
It's revealed that the male lead had feelings towards the villain of the story, who was a guy.
Kind of queerbait if you ask me, but when the fujo-danshis knew about this they immediately rioted because, according to them, the visual novel could have been a great BL material. Some even wanted to question the author personally...
