After Khisfire, the Kingdom of Fire and Lava attacked Arran, the Kingdom of Ice and Snow, Arran has been preparing for war. At the front lines is the King's Daughter-- Octavia Gallieo, the warrior ice princess.
Octavia and her henchmen venture on an undercover adventure across kingdoms to assassinate the Fire King. But much to Octavia's displeasure, her father insists she brings along Orion Trevino-- Arran's most well-known and troublesome prisoner.
The small group ventures through unfamiliar territory with a deadly mission and high tensions, but it seems assassinating the Fire King is the least of their worries.
