The Brightest Star

Everyone was charmed by Leo's bright smile but behind it all, he could barely keep it together inside. From taking care of his sick mother to suffering mental and physical abuse from his father to keeping up his perfect grades in school.

King was the new kid who had just moved in with his uncle, a shut-in drug boss. He just wanted to finish school in peace. He did not want to make friends and deal with their drama or problems.

But when he meets Leo everything changes, and Leo soon finds all his walls being torn down around King.

But what happens when someone from Leo's dark past comes back to haunt him? How much more will Leo be able to take before falling off the deep end? And what will happen when King finds himself in the middle of a drug war? Will he be able to protect Leo and his family?

Good things don't always happen to good people. Sometimes it's the ones who shine the brightest, who are suffering the most inside.
