'Freya shivered as the thought raced unbidden through her mind. He felt the tremour and smirked, pausing to just hold her hips for a few seconds until the shiver had disappeared.
It was payback for when she'd threatened him before, she knew. He had tried intimidating her with his fangs and that hadn't worked, so he was trying to get under her skin in a different way.
