In a country called the Communist Republic of Kimjin, a young women named Mari is struggling to make ends meet. In order to keep her family healthy and alive she has to resort to one of the most dangerous but good paying jobs... Black market smuggling. Mari, who lives near the border with Tsinay begins smuggling items from Tsinay and selling them on the black market. But when the secret police start a crackdown she find her life in danger... Mari plans her escape and takes her family with her.
