Elizabeth
She breathed a sigh of relief. The guys had finally zipped her up and pulled her hair into a bun leaving only a few tendrils to frame her face.

The crowd cheered as she appeared onstage. The evening gown hugged her body beautifully. Its plunging neckline showed off her ample bosom in a way that made her look sexy and elegant.

Nathan
He looked at his wife and thanked the heavens that she has recovered. He watched her move slowly as she walked around to meet their friends.

His wife had never looked at him or has sought him out from the crowd. It pained him to know that she completely erased him from her memory. He followed her with his eyes for a minute more as she flirts with an old friend.

He couldn't watch her anymore. He turned around and made his way back to the patio where he left his beer. He drank it in one gulp. He has hoped that it will clear his mind of the fog that he is in.

Sheryl
She looked at Nathan and felt his sorrow. She followed him to the patio and stood beside him.
"Maybe you should stop letting her remember you. Why don't you make new memories with her?" she suggested.

"Marry me." he drawled out sexily. His eyes filled with desire and for the first time in my life, I felt the danger of my chastity being taken tonight. I took a deep breath as I eyed my best friend who had been with me since I was eleven. "We're friends, Gabriel. Don't do this." My voice weakened with every word I say. He chuckled dangerously and it felt like music in my ears, "Friends? Friends don't desire each other, Marianne. Don't think that I didn't know you were blocking the girls who were trying to take my number back then." I gritted my teeth as I felt the embarrassment of what I did back then when we were sixteen. I glared at him and punched his chest, "Then why did you still flirt with them?! You like playing around with my feelings?!" He stopped my hand from punching his chest. He lowered his head and put his nose to my neck to inhale my scent. "I didn't flirt with them, babe. I didn't text them. The texts you saw came from my other number I used to pretend I was texting myself. You don't know how crazy I get from holding back from touching you. The mere smell of yours is driving me crazy. So marry me, Marianne. Give me the right to taste you." His hoarse voice sounded painful but filled with desire, I shut my eyes tightly as nervousness and butterflies were swirling on my stomach, my knees trembling from excitement. He pulled my waist and he smashed my lips with his hungry mouth. His lips devoured my lips and his tongue invaded every inch of my mouth. ~~~~ Marianne and Gabriel had been bestfriends ever since they were teenagers. After becoming an adult, Marianne became a corporate office worker who only wants to farm while Gabriel became the most sought-after billionaire bachelor in the Philippines. With different status in life and different priorities, Marianne is getting ready to let go of her first love when Gabriel suddenly proposed to her.

"Never realised you would look like a Disney princess in a dress," said Jay, breaking the silence between them. "Is that a compliment, Mr.Dawson?" replied Leah quietly, her voice more of a rat's squeak. He pushed her chin up, boring into her eyes. Her eyes were welled up with tears. "Heyy, I know I am a hot stuff. You don't have to cry for being my fan, you know." He winked at her, as his two syllable laugh echoed in her mind. She elbowed him playfully, as she laughed at his comment. "Sorry about what happened last time, Leah. I didn't mean to react that way, though" said Jay, as he tugged at the loose bow that lay across his white collared crisp shirt. She stepped forward and adjusted his bow, as she went on," sorry for breaking your promise Jay," her voice the reflection of complete guilt and sadness. "I know how much this means to you, Leah. I've seen how excited you get every time you receive a letter from him. One lucky guy that fella is," he winked at her again watching a tear drop rolling down her cheek. He pushed her by the shoulders to the vanity mirror at the other end of the room. He pulled off the hair band from her pony tail, as he watched her hair fall across her shoulders, its ends curled inwards. The dress hugged her perfectly, the end of the dress forming waves near her feet. "That girl over there," he pointed at the mirror, "is what I would define as beauty working out its magic," he whispered. *** As wise men have said before, what the eyes couldn't see is what the mind doesn't know. Will it be proven true in Leah's case? Join her in her quest of finding her pillar of success whom had always remained mysterious; working behind the curtains of fame while she was showered with applause and glory. Will she ever find the one she was looking for?***
