This is Tom Riddle's backstory rewritten. In the prologue, Voldemort has a moment of weakness when reminded of a girl he once loved. He is reminded of the time when he wasnt Voldemort, but Tom Riddle. This is the story of the girl who had many secrets. She becomes not only Tom's purpose, but also his undoing.
This strays from the original plot of Harry Potter. Tom did not grow up with hatred and a vindictive personality, he gains it from a heartbreak that nearly destroys him.
This has Tom Riddle x OC and also Theo Nott x OC.
I think that Tom Riddle could have had a much better villain arch than he did in Harry Potter, so I'm taking it upon myself to write what I think would have been a great and tragic beginning to what we know as Lord Voldemort.
