Christine should have known better than to stay after closing... "What're you still doing here? It's past closing time!" "I know but I was just reorganizing all of the..." A metallic sound could be heard pounding on the hardwood floors to our left, growing louder and louder. It could only mean one thing. "Run to the back," I tore my eyes away from Bonnie, shoving the girl towards the hallway that led to the security office. "Now!" Sprinting at her heels, I wheeled around to keep an eye on the animatronics. The metal-on-wood sound grew louder. Foxy was hurtling between a row of arcade games, headed straight for us. This is a short story based on the popular 2014 horror game, Five Night's at Freddys. "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza after dark..." She gets a job there. Everything seems fine. The restaurant soon becomes popular. One night, Lizzy and four other employees have to stay late to clean. But, the animatronics start moving. Y/N L/N was a seven year old boy who was taken to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for his seventh birthday with his single mother as she had forgotten about his birthday. Upon entry, he was star struck by the animatronics. Y/N found them all so cool, but he did quickly gain a favourite, which was Freddy. On the way home, Y/N's mother even promised him that she would take him again soon. But, almost a year later, to be precise, a week away from Y/N's eighth birthday, he had learnt that the promise made by her was a lie after asking when they would visit again many times. This time, Y/N mustered up the courage to ask his mum a different question. From that day onwards, the relationship between Y/N and his mother spiralled down and wasn't the same ever again. After finishing high school, Y/N went to university and studied to become a robotics technician so he could work at places like Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. He was so good at what he was studying, that he only had to study for two years before being allowed to graduate. So when Y/N turned twenty, he applied for the role of the animatronic mechanic at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza-Plex, which was a massive mall version of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. It had all of the originals(in my AU, Bonnie and Foxy still exist) and some new ones. Y/N was ecstatic when he heard that they were accepted and now employed to be the mechanic, but he had to keep this job a secret. He could not risk his mother finding out. Y/N was pretty good at not mentioning starting the job. That was until one day when his mum decided to randomly come visit and found out everything, causing a big argument. Y/N didn't care and started working there anyways. He became the happiest they ever had been. Y/N made new friends. Both human and robotic. Everything was normal, until one day, when a realisation made everything change for Y/N.

For many years, a certain pizzeria was the place a young girl used to go to as a child. She loved coming here almost everyday to spend time with her favorite animatronics. There is one in particular who stands out to her, because he is the only one who is different from the rest at the time. And she believed in her heart that he might have been alive and her true friend. However, one day after leaving the restaurant, a tragedy occurs before she can reach home. One that would change her life forever, and returning to that restaurant was out of the question. At least for ten years. It is not until she needs a job that she finds herself returning to the restaurant as a night guard and meeting the animatronic she used to love as a friend for the first time in ten years somehow brings up on feelings. Mostly because of what happened ten years ago. When she settles into the first night, believing things will be boring and slow, she discovers that the animatronics might be more than they appear. Especially her favorite animatronic, and she soon learns that he did not take it well when she did not return. She had never thought he would even remember her...but as time passes by, she learns that the animatronics are more than they appear. And the owner of the restaurant seems to be the key to this whole thing.
