Adelaide did not expect to fall in love with Nolan and end up pregnant while he went away to join the military.

Nine-teen year old Adelaide Burke wanted a fun get away. She had no idea that spending the summer with her best friend Katrina Harlyn, would lead to falling in love with the cute italian boy next door. A month after Adelaide returns home, she finds that she is pregnant.

Throughout most of his life Nolan Marcos has wanted to join the military. He knew what he wanted in life, but he didn't expect to meet the love of his life the summer before he was supposed to be shipped off to base for training.

Two years later Nolan returns from base to find his family is spending Christmas with Adelaide. When Nolan arrives he is met with a little girl with dimples and curly brown hair, that resembles Adelaide and Nolan.

"Mommy!" A little girl came running around the corner. "Mommy, I need to potty." She was adorable and pouting. She had blond hair that was up in pigtails, she looked to be about two years old.

Adelaide shot me a side glance and knelt down to face the little girl. "Okay, baby. Let's hurry." She picked her up and quickly turned to me, biting her lip. "Come in, Nolan. We'll talk in a minute." Then she walked off with the little girl.
