There are certain events that we will never have control of, certain things we will never be able to explain; and that is what we call fate. We are all fated to do something; fated to love, fated to get our hearts broken, fated to be alone, fated to appreciate people from afar, fated to be hurt and most of all, fated to die.
This is a collection of one-shots/short stories that speak of the tragic yet intricate relationship of love and death.

I met him at my darkest. He was light-too bright, too beautiful. As if the world could never quite hold him. He had a mischievous smile, eyes full of stars, and a habit of saying the most ridiculous things right when I needed them. He made fun of me and I rolled my eyes.
