On a trip to the capital of the kingdom to visit his dying grandmother, Eugene is noticed by a military official and finds himself dragged to the palace. Because of a genetic mutation, Eugene is the only Human with an energy core--an organ that gives every other race the ability to wield energy, a phenomenon of magic--and the monarchy of the King's Domain send Eugene out on a mission. Grow stronger, and he will become the greatest weapon for them to use in their civil war. The only problem is, the Resistance--a militia group fighting the King's Domain within the empire--is after Eugene and want him dead. Starsis and Evilkin, two powerful entities who've dueled for millennia, become severely weakened because of their tireless war. The enraged evil entity plots both his brother's downfall and the regaining of his terrible power with the help of Silencer and Raptor, his ever so loyal servants. Being quick and resourceful, Starsis uses the almighty Crystal of Power to summon five young teens to recollect the shards, them having scattered across the multiverse after their recent use. That way, it'll be enough for him to work on an object that'll permanently seal his brother away. These five teens in particular have their own demons to conquer. They must do that, and worry about the villains out for the end of the entire multiverse.
