The Fifth Shinobi War happened and the allied shinobi forces almost lost however, Boruto managed to kill Kawaki before he does any more damage, which cost Boruto his life. And within his dying moments, he was surrounded by his loved ones as he closed his eyes and took his last breath... or so he thought.

Moments later he was somehow able to open his eyes and found himself lying on the ground. A few moments went, by and he saw, a silver blur of someone's ha in the distance. Boruto felt something off and he quickly put his headband in a scroll before blacking out.
