Rowen Jones was always the perfect daughter and student. Following the rules, doing as she's told, never questioning what others told her. She was never really noticed, much like a background character. But she was fine with it, she was walking the path her parents had carved so meticulously for her.
Now a sophomore at high school and she was ready to fly past the year with all A's like she always did. But what she wasn't ready for was for the new girl at school. Who she expected to just walk past her like everyone else did. Because who talks to the background characters?
