We are all travelers in this world: someone for business, someone for study, someone for tourism and someone for other reasons. Who for pleasure, who for necessity, who for duty... And who for something else. We are all - at a certain level - aware travelers: there are those who arrive, those who leave, those who wait and those who do not. There are those who seek, those who find, those who are found... and those who are not. We all are. Everyone, except for me! Oh, but that doesn't have to make you sad, you know? It intoxicates me, in a good way: I exist in this place for as long as I can remember and even if I have no idea about how or why I am here I would not want to live anywhere else, if not here! Here, in the frenetic bustle of people; here, among the incessant patter of soles and tires, with that at times excited and at times whispered shouting; here, where the passage of time is entrusted to the metallic voice of the speaker; where the delimitation of the space, usually designated by the signs, is constantly defined and redefined sometimes by the emotions of the euphoric crowd or the shy individual and sometimes by the hum of the agile shuttles or the roar of the mighty engines ... Here. Where else, if not here? Not a day goes by without my eyes filling with amazement, my heart quivering with curiosity and my soul breathing freedom. But back to us: what would you say to stop with me for a while? You know, although this place is flooded with people, it lacks a bit of humanity; the hustle and bustle is so hectic that no one has time to chat (or is willing to find it); so, sometimes it happens that loneliness assails me. Could you give me some company? I, in return, could tell you some stories! A new one happens every day; there is something for everyone! Come on, I know for sure you'll like it ... Or maybe not, who can say it?

Throughout their ultimately unsuccessful attempt to quit, they find unexpected friendship and solace in one another. Will their relationship prevail over the curveballs that life throws at them? Read to find out. Preview: "A pack of Marlboro Reds please," he said while placing down a bottle of black americano. "May I see your ID?" He rummages in his pockets, and holds his card up to me. 'Min Yoongi 9 March 1993', it read. "You've got a lovely baby face, Mr. Customer. You don't look a day over 18," I said with a smile on my face. "You ought to stop smoking, sir. I'm sure you know it's bad for your health," I continued, as I checked his shopping out. "I don't think nagging your customers is part of your duties as a part-time convenience store worker," said customer quipped with a hint of impatience. I simply smiled, deciding to pull out a card from beneath the counter for special customers like him. "Here's a quit smoking hotline, sir. I wish you good health and happiness," while handing over his shopping." "Stop working so hard, 알바생", and with two long strides he left into the dark night, leaving a lingering sound of the wind chimes as the only proof that he was ever there. Status: Rapidly updating. God knows that I'll procrastinate and eventually forget that this book exists if I don't finish it in two weeks. Update: Took much longer than two weeks, but it is now complete.
