Each person is given a dream realm where they go when they fall asleep. Remi Claireve is a lucid dreamer and one night, she has the bad luck of running into the Grim Reaper, a dark force known for "killing" dream realms. In order for her to get back to reality, she joins forces with the Dream Robbers, a group of other lucid dreamers who have been stuck in the dream world for much longer than Remi could imagine. Together, she and the Dream Robbers collect dreams to give to the King of Dreams in hopes he'll rebuild their realms and help them return to their bodies. Only, what happens when he asks them for an impossible task? Getting their hands on the Grim Reaper's scythe.
