Poetry appears in many forms, many languages, and many styles. Despite the differences in expression, messages are sent across, thoughts are pieced together, and emotions are conveyed. Of the many poetry forms, the ones that fascinated me the most was Japanese poetry.
This is my experimental journey in the world of waka and other forms of Japanese poetry. Readers are invited to enjoy, ponder, critique, and learn from my poems and the poetry forms I am using. The words may be limited, the rhymes sparse, and the syllables short, but the feelings I pour into these poems are precious in themselves. May every reader find a bit of themselves in my poems.
