The world of Beyblade had changed since the legend that was Ginga Hagane had lived. Bey Spirits had human forms and some could temporarily transform from a beyblade to their human form.

Those beyblades, were special though, and they had to be either bonded to their user from when they were young, or have a strong sense of trust with their user.

Valt Aoi was one of these bladers whose bond with his beyblade was strong and in turn his beyblade Valkyrie had a human form.

His bey's human name was Y/n L/n and Y/n was a girl.

One day, when a young Valt (like he was very new to beyblading but had a considerable amount of losses already) accidentally lost his bey and Shu found her in her human form.

"Hi, my name's Shu, Shu Kurenai. Are you lost?" he'd asked and Y/n looked up her e/c eyes staring into his red orbs, "No, I'm just waiting for someone. His name is Valt. My name is Y/n, Y/n L/n."
