How many times must you die before you realize what you are living for?

*********************************************************
Ezlyn Graves has lost her mind. Literally! The inability to remember a single event after a drunken night leaves her mystified. To make matters worse, a cryptic text message revealing that she is an agent, presents a life she never knew existed.

Apparently, Ezlyn is a Guardian of the Death Guard, summoned by Death to locate the stolen scythe before the necrological order of demise is disrupted. But Ezzie didn't expect to be teamed up with devious miscreants thirsty for blood and seeking vengeance. In fact, she isn't at all prepared to learn that some of Death's own personal guards have gone missing, especially at a time when she has no recollection of the life she is living or what she is capable of.

Do paranormal things, witches and magic exist? There are gifts that are waiting to be discovered. The mythical power is just waiting beyond the deepest darkest tunnel of the unknown. Only the brave learns to test the waters amidst the labyrinth of its knotted mystery. PLEASE, NO PLAGIARISM. (~Created July 6, 2018:Finished August 5, 2018~) Being engrossed in studying his current case detained him from leaving at once until he forgot the time. He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"

A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. This is meant for mature audiences, due to the amount of violence, language, character backgrounds, etc. There are sexual scenes but don't expect many as I'm VERY new to writing. Thank you and enjoy!)

Kalyna's family died, murdered by vampires. For five years, she hunted down those responsible for killing her husband and children, and the end was finally in sight. As she watched the last nest burn to the ground, she almost believed that the fight was over; that she could finally fade away. She made no attempt to flee the scene, accepting that and jury would convict of arson with intent to endanger life. Let them leave her to rot in a prison, she had nothing left to tie her to the world anyway, not now her vengeance had been served. Despite her plan for surrender, others had schemes of their own; schemes that didn't involve jail cells and court rooms. Not for Kalyna, at least. When dispatch ordered her arresting officers to hand her over to a unit from Special Branch, she began to think something might be amiss, but she wasn't prepared for the undercover agent in a Police Sergeant's uniform. The vampire - with his amber and honey eyes that flashed silver in the darkness, and his razor sharp fangs - terrified her. She had no doubt that he would punish her for hunting his kind, and her first instinct was to flee. Yet she wasn't prepared for him, or the organisation he worked for, or what he had to say about her own origins. Just what was the Occult Task Force? What heritage made Kalyna so interesting to supernaturals of all varieties? And could she really sign on to fight in a bigger battle, one that stretched far beyond a few rogue vampires? Could she learn to fight side by side with the very creatures she had spent five years hunting? More importantly, what dark things waited in the shadows where others feared to tread? Kalyna was about to find out, and she had no idea if she was up to the challenge, or if Staff Sergeant Dunstan Eorl would be the death of her first.
