Ezlyn Graves has lost her mind. Literally! The inability to remember a single event after a drunken night leaves her mystified. To make matters worse, a cryptic text message revealing that she is an agent, presents a life she never knew existed.

Apparently, Ezlyn is a Guardian of the Death Guard, summoned by Death to locate the stolen scythe before the necrological order of demise is disrupted. But Ezzie didn't expect to be teamed up with devious miscreants thirsty for blood and seeking vengeance. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. (History) Hi my name is Serenity, and I have a secret I must tell, because you see I am immortal, which means that I cannot die no matter what, like for example you shoot 100 bullets at my heart I won't die. When I first realized I was immortal was when I was trying to save a friend but the bullet went right through my heart and killed her. Her name was Sarah, and she was the only person that accepted me being immortal. You see what happened was, she said that she was going to tell people that were scared of me that I was a normal person, but she said that to someone who really hated me and that was her brother, Ian, even though he may be hot, he can be a full on jerk. Nearly everyone at school knows that. But, the one thing I don't get is why he hates me. I can understands if he hated me after his sister died, but it didn't mean that he had to tell the police that I killed her, as I didn't, he did. He is such a bloody liar. One day I will get revenge on her, but that will happen once I get out of here. At the moment I am in jail, I've been telling the police that I didn't kill Sarah, but they still don't believe me. The chick in the cell next to me whose name was Raquel said that they won't believe anyone as they have heard too much shit from other prisoners. Raquel said that she did a pretty bad crime, and she been in prison for around 10 years. I am worried that I am going to have to stay for 10 years for something I didn't do. I swear Ian screwed up their minds as he has been in prison for 5 years; well that is what Raquel told me, as they used to be Boyfriend and Girlfriend, and they both did the same crime 10 years ago.

Let's be a villain! 15-years-old Marissa Everstar makes a Faustian bargain to receive superpowers, in the hope they will make her famous. But when being a superhero turns out to mainly involve boring work that does not get her the immediate popularity she craves, she shifts gears and becomes a villain. Trigger warning: contains descriptions of physical and emotional abuse, blood and gore. Excerpt from chapter 2: I carefully begin pouring the white powder onto the floor, drawing a large pentagram. I spend a lot of time on the intricate details, making sure everything is perfect. The summoning circle quite small, but it will have to do. I clap my hands twice and hear a soul-crushing scream that appears to pierce my body to its core. Hearing the sound fills my stomach with butterflies and gives me a fuzzy feeling. I haven't heard a single sound in almost a year. Following the scream, a shadowy figure emerges. He appears deep black, littered with stars, as if a human-like shape has been carved out of the universe, but also strangely transparent, as if made of glass. His long arms end in clawed fingers, and his ears and horns are goat-like in appearance. On his back are two bat-like wings. He speaks in a deep voice-the only one I've heard in a long time. "Mortal, why have you awoken me from my slumber?"

Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive.
