Gintama : Lost bonds

I groan in pain as my back hit the cold hard floor, making my wounds reopen.
Crawling over to my 'bed', which is actually piece of cardboard on the floor. Ever since I was captured I have been tortured because of my "crimes against the Bakufu". I kept asking myself how is it a crime to want to save my sensei who was wrongfully accused of "raising future Joi patriots" when he was just teaching us how to live our lives peacefully. Sure, he showed us the way of the sword but it was more for self defense. We never would have had a reason to take up our swords any ways until that day...
Looking up at the stars through the lone window of my cell, I look back on the past where I was once happy. I had sensei, my first love, my family and most importantly, my other half, my twin.
Luna has been imprisoned by the previous shogun, Sadasada Tokugarwa ever since the end of the Amanto war. Her twin brother doesn't even know she is alive. Oboro the leader of the Naraku faked her death to show Gintoki what will happen if he is to go against the government or so he claims..... He then locked her up in the lowest level of the prison known as 'Jigoku no mon'. Eight years have as Luna is still held captive wondering why she is still alive and what happened to her 'family' after all this time, until now.
