I had been trying for years to get out of the boring city of London. The same old routine every day, every hour, every second.

But then it happened, something that I had been waiting anxiously for the past three months to receive... The Call-Back.

Emily. A budding actress, a funny character, but most importantly... extremely impatient. For the past three months all her mind could focus on was the call back, that yes or no answer that could determine her future.

But to her surprise... the news was positive and she will be flying to America, Louisiana to shoot for the new upcoming movie, The Maze Runner. She was only a scientist, an irrelevant part of the film, but still, was a good starting point.

But not only was this an opportunity for a future full of acting opportunities, but a future to finally let one person in and actually know the truth behind Emily's tall walls. That person just happens to be the one person she expected least.... Thomas Brodie-Sangster

Thomas turns to the side, checking himself out in the mirror. "Tell me, Kelsey. How do I look?" I look at his orange tank top and cargo pants, with a gray hoodie tied around his waist. "It's your costume, Sangster. It looks dirty and worn-out, as it should. Why do you care what I think, anyways? You don't need my approval." "Call me Thomas. Coming from you, it sounds better than my last name." He chuckles to himself before stepping away from the mirror and walking towards me. He leans over and puts his lips right next to my ear, his warm breath sending shivers down my neck. "And that's true. I don't need your approval. But whoever said I don't want it?" ----------------- Kelsey Harris is an eighteen-year-old college student who has absolutely no idea what she wants to do with her life. She spends her time working at the local restaurant and spending time with her parents, boyfriend, and best friend. Well, Kelsey's life is about to get real. She's eager to escape from her hometown and experience life on the set of a movie. And maybe, just maybe, she'll learn a thing or two about herself, too. On the set, Kelsey finally starts to figure out what she wants to do with her life while making friends with the cast and crew members. She's happy that she's found such an unexpected new group of friends. But what happens when a certain actor begins to challenge everything Kelsey's ever known? Completed November 2016.
