Barnes didn't bother to listen to Emily's explanation and cuts in, "Stop. That's enough. Agent Prentiss, I know you are a chess player. All I am asking is for you to sacrifice a couple of pieces to save the whole board."
"I stand by my team and the actions we've taken," Emily stated firmly.
"Then, please turn over your gun and your badge, Agent Prentiss."
Emily stood up and took out her gun and badge and put it on Barnes' table.
"Thank you. You are now suspended from active duty."
