Denerim: the largest city and capital of Ferelden. Long ago, the elves lived as slaves to humans, and though they have been free for many generations now, they are far from equals. Here they live in a walled off community known as the Alienage, working as servants and laborers when they can. Despite these hardships, Denerim's elves are a strong people who take pride in their close community. This is the only world you have ever known... until now. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Note: This story is dedicated to SarahGypsyWriter. She is one of my best friends and is an amazing person. I would honestly be dead if it wasn't for her. She is like a sister and is an awesome friend. Luv ya, girly. Keep rocking.

Hidden beyond the ordinary world floats Arx Virelian..the Spire. A vast magical university, built on ancient arcane crossings, ruled by councils, old families, and secrets older than history itself. At the center of it all is Yasha Vexmoor...the only living mage who can wield raw magic with nothing but her will. No books, no wards, no chains. Some call her a miracle. Others call her a danger. She is both. Two figures pull her in opposite directions: • Grandmaster Gavros Veyron: cold, powerful, and bound to duty. • Professor Cyran Elowen: brilliant, charming, and impossible to read. Between them, Yasha must decide who to trust and who may already have betrayed her. But deep beneath the Spire, something stirs. A name long erased from every record. Malakar. An immortal shadow who once toppled empires and raised cults. After centuries trapped in the void, he wakes again. This time, he does not want conquest. He wants her.
