It's fractured the close relationship between Kota and Jess. Which is damaged even more when Kota starts to date Kayli Winchester along with most of his newly formed Blackborne-Toma team.

Broken and living a life where she doesn't have to interact with any people, Jess crashing into said life forces Sang Sorenson to admit there is more out there. As Jess helps out more on the reserve and finds herself, Sang starts to meet some of Jess's family and experiences things she has no idea how to deal with. Luckily she has a whole bunch of crazy animals and newly self proclaimed adopted sister and a crazy amount of talent to help her figure it out- eventually...

However the plot is mine and i really hope you have never read anything like it before, I have attempted to do a take on Sang that I haven't seen anywhere before, but you have to get into it before it makes sense!

Sang and her boys have been together for 4 years, she successfully joined the academy and has been doing well going on missions with the guys and much to the boys' dismay, solo missions. It is after one nerve racking mission that the boys asked her to stop taking missions and marry them, but she refused. Sang felt she was part of something big and she wanted to continue to make a difference in the world. The boys were given a mission they could not turn down that would require them to go deep under cover for at least a year with little to no contact to the outside world and Sang could not be a part of the mission she was needed elsewhere on her own mission. The Vigilante Damsel in Distress
In this Ghostbird Fanfic Sang never makes it to Charleston, SC. Sang saves herself before ever meeting her boys. She isn't abandoned by family, she won't put up with abuse, and doesn't feel it's her duty to take care of a monster. Every victim of abuse reacts differently. I personally was defiant and refused to believe what I was told or that I deserved it. I wanted Sang to have my spirit. I wanted Sang to have even more than my spirit actually as I didn't save myself but Sang will save herself. So if Sang was never the timid bird we know her as who will she become? If she ends up knowing a normal life and allowed to mature and know healthy relationships before meeting the boys how will that go? I'll alter the boys as well. When I look back now on CL's books they come across as guys who don't like confident women and have hero complexes. I can't remember exactly what they say about the Academy girls and why they won't date them but basically it's because the girls are confident and sure of themselves and apparently that's not good? So no these guys won't be like that. The core of who they are will be the same though. I feel like the Toma team does appreciate confident women already so they won't need to be altered at all. I digress lets see how the story flows with our Sang being her own hero and the havoc she'll unleash on our boys. Finally, these characters are not my own but the plot is my own. So no stealing my plot and give all credit of characters to CL Stone. I will reference to some scenes from her books as well as the boys will still do the Ashley Waters mission and deal with Volto. The actual scenes from her books won't be in my own though just referenced in flashbacks and such.Concluida
