That Guy

McKinzie Smith is not like any other girl. She had been through a lot. Her dad was a crazy drunk who provided daily abuse. Her mother was a gambler so she often found herself left with nothing but a slice of bread on the table during dinner. One night, about two years ago, the neighbors heard McKinzie screaming because of her torturous father and called the police. They decided that her mother and father were not fit to be parents.

However, things have been getting better since she moved in with her grandparents (on her mother's side) and she has even been moved to a new school! Her world has been flipped completely around. But that isn't because of her grandparents. No, but because of Brent Rivera. He is the new kid in school as well as she and has long brown hair, brown eyes, and is hilarious. McKinzie has no idea what to say , but she can't let a guy that gorgeous just walk out of her life when he just got into it!
