fingers dancing over ivory keys in rhythmic patters. sadness seeps through the seemingly joyfully melody. breathing in and out trying not to focus on the sound of the bustling streets bellow. pressing down on the damper pedal to give the song a soft echo throughout the small apartment building. closing his eyes with a soft smile, fingers moving faster, feet pressing harder. the melody that was once soft and somber now roars with passion, happiness and excitement- is now screaming, threatening to escape the confinements of its dry wall and wooden cage.

as soon as it came the roaring calmed down into a quiet meow. fingers slowed down and feet stopped pressing. the smile that once showed itself on his face disappeared without a Single trace.
