Mark Fischbach meets Ethan Nestor when he dies in a sudden car crash, only to wake up in a dark void. So one day, when he decides to end it all, he is frankly surprised by the sudden apparition of his dead idol, Mark Fischbach, who tells him he has a whole year left to live. Ethan must work with himself to find a meaning to life, and on the way he teaches Mark a thing or two about living as well.
