It's 2003, for Alan Rickman, it is an intensely busy season in his life. In between filming Harry Potter installments, he is filming Something the Lord Made. Love Actually is about to hit the big screen and promotion is in full swing. He also just began rehearsals on a play that will run for the next four months. A career this busy would be hard for anyone to juggle, but this man is also a single father to a 15 year old daughter. His recent surge in projects has caused a distance to grow between himself and his daughter, Ashleigh. He's begun to be an actor first and father second. A phone call from his lawyer resets his priorities, but also introduces this father and daughter to the most challenging time of their lives.
