I know that you know but you do not know that you really do not know - get to know your 'self While reading this book each one of you will say "I know". No one knows himself better than the individual himself but how truthful are you about yourself? The biggest liar is the one who lies to himself. Do you really think you are the individual you know? Think and then think about what you have thought. Is it what you really thought? Ask your conscience because in this world there is nothing more honest and sincere than one's conscience. The two great movers of the human mind are the desire of good and the fear of evil. One should have a desire to be good and do well. Desire is the key to motivation. It is the key to develop a healthy personality and a positive attitude towards oneself and others. Let us begin by creating a desire to be good, to feel good about ourselves and others and a desire to analyse ourselves honestly. The gradual development of this attitude will surely help you take a big leap towards personality development.

This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old.
