"No, my decision is final," Clifford replied sternly. "You've tested my patience enough."

"Dad, please. I swear to God, I--"

"You what?" he warned as he faced her. "What?!"

Cheryl kept quiet, cussing in her head.

"You know what, Cheryl? You're a handful and we can't deal with you anymore that's why I'm teaching you a lesson! I've made my decision, do you hear me? You'll spend your eleventh grade in the South, and you will not be readmitted to Riverdale High until you fix your damn attitude!"
