Imagine a life in utter silence. Imagine having your thoughts trapped in your body, craving for them to be shared. Well, imagine no further. That was my life. I was born deaf and mute, and lived with the effects for the better part of my childhood. I struggled daily while also suffering horrible tragedies at a very young age. From bullying to hate crimes, I experienced them all while still learning about the world. Most people would have quit trying. But with my family unsure of their future, it was up to me to push forward and give them hope.

It was a no brainer to swim but fully embracing the changes to the way I thought and felt was quite a journey. This is my story.

I wrote this story with someone very dear to me on my mind, saying it's a fan-inspired-fiction 😂 I imagine there will be a few readers who can guess who that person is. Even still, this is just a story I created. Another story that told me how it wanted to be written. I imagine that somewhere in another world or another timeline, Clover is real. That this is his name and this is his life. No matter what story I am telling, it belongs to somebody somewhere. Somebody that just wants to be heard. Somebody that just wants to be seen. One small action, that's all it takes. A/N: This story is partly fantasy. Nothing supernatural introduced, but it was all created in my mind and has no link to any time in history in particular. Also, this story was inspired by a story I wrote as a young child (8-10) and I was seemingly incredibly morbid at that age (of course altered and expanded, as my idea was rather simplistic).
