After the Waves devastated the Earth, modern society collapsed. Governments didn't know what to do, and much of the world's treaties and society's pre-imposed rules went out the window.
A survival for the fittest.
For Tommy, his life of gaming for hours on end was disrupted, and he couldn't go back. Days of screwing around on minecraft servers were gone, and more than half of his friends had either died or gone missing. He was living a hell he'd only ever read about in books for school, but when he sees Dream for the first time, he begins to think maybe the world isn't so fucked after all?

STORY: Schlatt has taken over the world with his powers, Elemental Control, the strongest powers of all, but Dream also has this power and more. He is the first man to be born and gifted multiple powers. He has a fate to save the world from Schlatt, but he is weak from fear. He must learn with help from many of his friends to let go of the fear. Dream has already managed to amass a small rebellion, but unless Dream can control himself, they cannot do anything. Some might think this situation would make Dream more responsible, but he went down the same path as his mother. From getting high everyday to crashing at his friends house, it seemed like there was no end. George on the other hand was a little different. He had his mom and his sister, and his brain. George was incredibly smart, he was definitely going places. The downside of this was bullies, George is bullied constantly and can't stand up for himself. He is grateful for what he has, but he sometimes wish he could just do something to take the edge off. THANK GOD-" (Y/N) Cheered, and a brunette boy walked up to the two, confused. "The first people who aren't exactly confused, cool." The boy muttered. "Also what do you mean by remember?" "tUBBO NO!" Dream and George enjoy a comfortable life as a couple in L'manburg; however, when the king orders them to his castle, their life gets thrown into chaos. The king separates the two of them before sending Dream on a quest to kill a traitor. On the way, the king discovers George is not all he seems. This gives the king greater interest in him, so he decides to keep George. Will Dream let him get away with his evil plans, or will he bring hell upon the kingdom? This story will mainly focus on DreamNotFound though it will have other ships. Tommy and tubbo grew up as brothers. Not all of the Dream SMP members will be present. Also, if any content creators state they are uncomfortable with fanfiction, I will take down the story. 'It was dark outside by now, and Dream could hear the sounds of monsters roaming the surface. He shivered and grabbed his stone sword a little tighter. He's safe in here... nothing can hurt him... right? A too close for comfort zombie groan made him press more into the corner of his hideout. What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. He would prefer almost anything over the situation he's in right now. One wrong move and his life would be over. He hates it here. He just wants to go home. Please.' ---- Hey! I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? Like of course I watch Tommy Videos or Dream Manhunt and all that, but that's about it. They were each streaming on the Dream SMP that day, everybody had just about logged off when the server suddenly shut down with the 6 still online. After a day of not hearing from them, a few people checked the SMP. The server was locked." -News article 2026. (Warning- Non of this is remotely close to the actual SMP or these streamers IRL selves. please don't judge me if nothing in this story lines up with the real SMP. thanks for reading!) Tommy and Tubbo were sick and tired of hearing non stop about the disappearances. The two brothers wanted them to be found just so people would shut up about it, that was until scientists finally figured out what happened and how to get them out. each of the missing streamers were stuck in the world, their bodies now part of the game. The only way for them to get out was to either beat the game or find some sort of loop hole, their only problem? Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them.
