Charlie Dashkin and her best friend Scott pride themselves on fighting and killing vampyres. Their activities thrive in the heart of New York City at a special training center called the Academy. When they encounter a human named Adam and save his life, they introduce him to their world. Adam and Charlie don't get along at first, but soon, they begin a relationship for better or for worse. When danger comes to the Academy in various forms, Charlie has to make a number of life changing decisions .
