Miranda and Max are enjoying the good life in Mallorca when they are called to a crime scene: a young man and a teenage girl were brutally murdered and left on the Beach in Palma. While this is difficult for everyone, Miranda seems devastated by the death of the British tourists. Trying to find out why, Max has to dive right into the beginnings of Miranda's life and the tragic circumstances under which the unique woman grew up.
