A Midsummer's Twilight (a Twilight Fanfic)

My idea for this fanfic came from the play written by William Shakespeare, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Here is an excerpt:

I laid down on the forest ground. It was odd to believe I could even survive one night in the middle of a forest, but Edward was right beside me.

Jacob laid down on the other side of me. He had found us running off to be eloped and threatened to go home and tell Charlie. Somehow, we convinced him not to. He couldn't stop telling me I was making the wrong decisions and choices about my life. I could be with Jacob, a werewolf, or Edward, a vampire and love of my life.

As I pondered these thoughts, I drifted to sleep.

But when I woke, Edward was nowhere to be found.
