"In the new world, beauty has consequences."

   Twelve-year-old Eva and her mom Muda are like most in the apocalypse. Haunting pasts and dirt-caked skin. With nothing but the clothes on her back and her mom by her side, Eva wants to focus on helping her mom keep them alive, while her mom just wants Eva to be able to be a kid again. 

   And when Daryl stumbles upon this child in a cooler and her character of a mother, he sees how all three of them carry a significant amount of baggage. But when they learn to carry and let go of things together, it's almost beautiful.
