It started as a dull throbbing in his lower back. Hinata Shouyou didn't think much of it at first- when he mentions it to his mother in passing, she frowns at him. "Did someone pull a chair out from under you as you sat down?" Hinata had laughed then, saying that "No, no I would definitely remember if someone did that!"

Now, though, now...

Waves of electricity arc up his spine, agony lacing his every step.

He wishes it was as simple as someone simply pulling a chair out from under him.
