Ben Tennyson lives with his grandma and adopted sister, a mutant named Lorna Dane. Having left the hero business nearly a decade ago, Ben does what he can to live a normal life. When the X-men come to offer the young mutant a place in their school for the gifted, Ben is unwilling to let her out of his sight. So he follows them in exchange for being a teacher for the students who have less control over their abilities. And just when Ben starts to adjust to his new situation other versions of Ben from alternate timelines show up. Soon after Ben's timeline begins to face problems only Ben 10 can face. Will Ben be able to take up his old mantle as a hero? Or will his past horrors prevent this hero from rising up to the challenge?
