Horrors by the Hudson

Based in New York City, Zara lived her life taking care of her parents when they spent their night drinking. Being locked in her room, and working multiple part time jobs just to keep a roof over their heads. Then out of nowhere she gets kidnapped by one of her parents dealers, promising them a month supply in exchange for their daughter. Now a 23 year old and one of the best private investigators in New York, she was assigned one of the hardest cases that seemed to hit too close to home.
Zach, the CEO of one of the biggest tech companies in the US. Living each day as luxurious as he can until he finds out his father is killing innocent women along the Hudson River. Growing up with a dad as a hunter, he was taught how to shoot animals at a young age, but he never thought that his father would go as far as killing humans.
They begin to meet up only for work, until feelings start to collide and secrets unravel.
