To have your memory wiped and your life stolen away from you is one thing. There were so many secrets beyond the walls but it was hard to try and listen to them when life in the Glade was forced to go on like clockwork. Thomas - the boy Tiegan arrived with - can't live restricted within the walls and he does everything to fight his way out. Tiegan can't decide whether the escape that lies beyond the horrors within the maze is better than the restricted life trapped inside the walls of the Glade.
